Using calibrated infrared cameras, we scan your energized electrical equipment — panels, transformers, breakers, disconnects, and switchgear, along with motor control centers, automatic transfer switches, UPS systems, and generator connections — while it runs under normal load. Overheating connections and failing components show up as thermal anomalies long before they trip, smoke, or fail.
How It Works
Electrical faults create heat before they create failures. Our thermographers scan each piece of equipment while it stays energized, capturing thermal images that reveal loose connections, overloaded circuits, and failing components. Every scan is non-contact and non-invasive — your equipment stays on and your operations keep running.

How Often Should You Scan?
NFPA 70B calls for infrared inspections of electrical equipment at least once a year as part of your Electrical Maintenance Program — and more often for critical, heavily loaded, or aging equipment. Each unit’s condition assessment sets its own re-inspection interval, so healthy equipment isn’t over-serviced while problem equipment gets watched closely. Scans are performed while your systems run at normal working load, which is when real heat signatures show. Most clients simply put their facility on an annual program and let us manage the schedule.
What You'll Receive
Within 5 business days of the survey, you’ll receive a complete condition assessment report with thermal images of every anomaly, severity classifications, and recommended repair priorities. For clients establishing a full NFPA 70B program, we also prepare your Electrical Maintenance Program document — the compliance backbone your insurer wants to see.
